Tree Cabling and Bracing:Cabling and Bracing - At times trees grow in ways which can compromise the structure. Once compromised the chances of damage to property or people are greatly increased. There are techniques used as a support system for branches and leaders by connecting multiple together to share the load thus limiting movement and reducing weight on any one specific limb or leader. Commonly this is used if there is signs of stress or potential failure.
There are two types of cabling static and dynamic:
When applying a static system, wire cabling is usually used to minimize any movement while taking a large portion of weight.
A dynamic system uses types of rope and allows for the tree to grow more naturally while sharing weight with another part of the tree.
